President’s Message for Christmas & New Year 2011
Dear
Members & Fellow Wesleyites,
The year is drawing to a close and
the
fever of Christmas with
its regular excitement has already gripped us. While Christians
all over the world are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus
Christ, the whole world will be reflecting their memory back on
the year that is drawing to a close with the yearning and
excitement to usher in a bright and prosperous 2012.
We, as Wesleyites can take stock of the year and review our
accomplishments, express our appreciation for the support we’ve
received and recognize the challenges ahead. When you do this, we
realize how our members are indeed the Club’s main asset and key
resource for realizing its enormous possibilities towards
progress.
I am very grateful to you all for your support, constructive input
and enthusiasm in the past few months, and look forward to your
ideas and efforts in the year ahead too.
We hope that you
can all find time to celebrate and reflect on the message of peace
and goodwill in a way which is meaningful to you, and spend time
with your families and friends recharging your batteries as we
prepare for 2012.
May the Joy of
Christmas fill your heart with warmth and love!
It is the time
of giving and sharing and also the time of loving and
reconciliation.
