OWSC Confident of winning Caltex Bowl 2011 with the fast Three
Quarter Line
This year with many new players who are young and possess speed
has joined the OWSC Rugby team, which is now mixed with experience
and weight/power players and a fast Three Quarter Line. The team
strategy would be to play more fast and open rugby and would go
into the tournament with much confidence.
The Caltex Bowl Championship organized by SLRFU this year will be
an intense tournament with more than 30 teams from all island
registering for participation. The league is to go on for a good 3
months.
The match schedule is given below and we welcome all members of
OWSC and their friends to come encourage and cheer the team for
victory.
The captain this year is Saliman Buckman and his deputy is
Dhanushka Jayamaha.
The team is managed by Shiraz Lye and the head coach is Niyazee
