OWSC Steamroll Air Force Ekala Dakotas
OWSC registered their 3rd win in as many matches with an easy
runaway victory over the Air Force Ekala Dakotas in a Caltex Bowl
rugby encounter
played at Havelock park on Sunday 14th August.
The Double Blue Jerseys spirited away with ease after Airforce
Dakotas opened scoring with a converted penalty to lead 3 nil
within the first 2 minutes of play.
It was to be their only score for the rest of the match as
marauding OWSC forwards won 80% of possession and used to good
effect to feed the speedy three
quarter line. The forwards powered their way gaining good ground
and crossing the line many times while also feeding the 3 qtr the
line which ran circles around
the hapless Airmen.
OWSC led 41-3 at lemons.
