President's Message for Christmas 2010
Dear Members & Fellow Wesleyites,
Continuing the tradition as we
enter the festive month of December for the year 2010 where
Christians all over the world begin to celebrate the birth of
Jesus Christ The Prince of peace, the Old Wesleyites Sports Club
will switch on the lights of its Christmas Tree on the 1st
of December 2010 at its club house.
As Wesleyites we have ended
another successful and eventful year in the event portfolio of
Wesley. The OWSC, I reiterate has and will always be the pivotal
engine of Wesley where Wesleyites could network each other
regularly and been in constant touch with the many activities that
are organized.
Unity is one of the most
important values that the OWSC always propagates to its members.
Many views and differences of opinion will always be a part at any
forum of an organization. What is important is that when decisions
are made in unison what ever the divergent views may be, we should
respect those decisions irrespective of our opinions and be united
towards the cause.
As we begin to celebrate the
birth of the Prince of peace we as Wesleyites should use this time
to shed all our differences, reconcile with each other and be one
happy family. Spare a moment to be mindful of the many Wesleyites
who may not be fortunate to celebrate in the festivities like many
of us. There may be many of them out there in the world that need
our help.
Along with my Executive Committee
I wish Wesleyites in Sri Lanka and the world over a Joyous and
Merry Christmas and a Bright and prosperous New Year filled with
Peace and Tranquility.
Jeremy Brohier
President - OWSC
